Fall Protection
Fall Protection is intended to prevent falls from heights, or in the event of a fall, to break the fall in a safe manner. There are three types of fall protection: personal fall protection equipment, fixed systems and collective fall protection. Personal fall protection equipment includes fall protection harnesses, fall arrestor lanyards, fall protection blocks and more. Fixed systems are products that are permanently installed on roofs or façades. Examples of these are rail and wire systems. Collective Fall Protection means that there may, for example, be a railing, net or other fall protection system installed on the roof. Fall protection must always be used where there is a fall height of two metres or more, or where there is a fall risk.
