• The hemlet shell offers good protection of ears and throat as well as good balance.
• The new front panel in silver is fitted with external controls, enabling quick and easy access to one grinding and two memory positions, for example, for quick swapping between welding and grinding, or between two users or two different welding positions.
• A motion sensor enables the cartridge to be immediately activated when the helmet is to be used, so it never needs to be switched on or off. Switches off by itself after 10 minutes.
• The welding visor can be set to 9 different angles depending on the working position.
• The distance between the welding visor and your face can be adjusted in order for the welding visor to be placed as close to the face as possible.
• The ergonomic headband can be adjusted from size 50 to 64.
• Exhaled air is led out via the breathing ducts at the sides.

Cartridge SPEEDGLS 9100XXi:

• Features improved optics making colours clearer and making it easier to see details.
• 7 different density settings. 5 and 8 for gas welding/cutting, microplasma and TIG with low streaming. 9-13 for most other welding methods.
• Sensitivity can be readjusted in 5 different positions depending on external light conditions.
• The catridge can be locked in a lighter position at density level 3 for sanding.
• The cartridge can also be locked at a darker position.
• A delay function can be set in 7 different positions if you need the cartridge to be left in the darker position a while longer in case the welding glow lingers.

50 00 26 3M Speedglas cartridge 9100XXi (without the silver front panel). The filter fits all Speedglas welding helmets in the 9100 series, but the new front in sliver is required for the external control functions.
